Marriott Courtyard Hotel/Time Square-Seoul, Korea.
Opened in late 2009, the Courtyard Marriott at YeungDeung Po, a suburb of Seoul, Korea is a must visit when in Korea. I stayed at this hotel early April of 2010. The hotel rests at the center of a multi complex department store called ShinSaeGae, one of the largest department chain in Korea to the left. To its right, the hotel is connected to "Time Square" a mega mall compromising of high end brand shops and boutique restaurants. It is a bench marking of a "Time Square" in Hong Kong. It resembles its neighbor's theme, design and even the architecture.
The hotel lobby is at the 5th floor. It is well thought out in design and its appearance. The rooms have great views over looking the greater Seoul. If you are in for a shopping and dinning, this hotel is perfect!!! Within walking distance, you will find restaurants such as On the Boarder,Kraze Burger, along with fusion Korean foods. Multi mall offers variety of shops ranging from budget friendly retail stores to high brand shops like Prada and Louis Vitton. One minor setback is that outside of the hotel complex, the near by surroundings are not so perfect.
The good news is that you need not to venture out of the multi complex when staying at this hotel. You pretty much can do everything indoor without ever going out the the complex. With a trendy shops and hotel like this, who needs to go out?
